Description
ICON Group performed a full exterior envelope restoration at Vista Trace Condominium in Homestead, Florida. The project involved the complete removal of the existing building envelope across multiple residential condominium buildings, followed by the installation of new structural gauge metal studs, exterior wall system components, and new hurricane impact windows.
The work also included the installation of new railing systems and a new EIFS exterior insulation and finish system using STO materials. This process helped restore the exterior facade, improve the building envelope, increase weather resistance, and provide a more durable exterior finish for the property.
The scope was completed across eight buildings, totaling approximately 200,000+ square feet of work. The project required coordinated construction sequencing, exterior access planning, installation coordination, and consistent quality control throughout the restoration process. The completed work helped modernize the exterior appearance of the condominium while strengthening and improving the long-term performance of the building envelope.
