Description
ICON Group performed structural restoration work at the RIU Hotel in Miami Beach. The project included concrete restoration on critical structural elements, with a major focus on repairing deteriorated columns and reinforcing key areas of the building.
Due to the nature of the column repairs, the project required specialty engineering services to design a shoring system capable of supporting the building while the structural work was performed. This allowed the repair process to move forward safely while maintaining the stability of the existing structure.
ICON Group also completed structural work on the building envelope and exterior facade, helping address concrete deterioration, improve facade performance, and preserve the overall integrity of the property.
